I bought a fashion magazine in other day and I like a fashion magazine, so I buy non-no which is one of woman's fashion magazine every month. Moreover I have a class of magazine culture this year. The class teacher, Atsuko Tomikawa, was an editor in chief―anan, Hanako, BLUTUS, Esquire of Japan edition. She likes a magazine very much. I learned about a magazine advertising last class. According to her, the advertising of the forth cover* is the most important and it is a symbol of the magazine status. That is way, I examined of the forth cover of the fashion magazine which I have ever bought. As a result of this examination, it was the advertising of COACH, Volkswagen, SUBARU, ANNA SUI, SEIKO, KOSE and more. They are all major company in Japan or world. In addition, the second cover** has many cases of cosmetic advertising. The cosmetic company which most spent the advertising cost in 2009 was SHISEIDO. The rank of below the second was CHANEL, Kanebo, Kose, and Christian Dior. Anything else, the next page of car's advertising must not insert the advertising of beer because it is associated with "drinking-drive". I'm interested in magazine advertising, so I want to know about it more.
